Take Note - 5 Chic Trends From Milan Fashion Week

Half the country may be buried beneath ice & snow, but The Days of the Chic is heating up as Milan Fashion Week comes to an end. There were some majorly chic trends we cannot stop obsessing over - tassels, necklines and prints - oh my!

Tell us your favorite, as you check out the 5 chicest trends coming your way this Fall courtesy of Milan Fashion Week.

Details - In true Italian fashion, the beauty lies within the details. Romantic accents, creative cuts and fur were among the chic details trending at Milan Fashion Week. While an array of designers showcased this trend, from Alberta Ferretti & Prada to Cavalli & Bottega Veneta, Gucci was in the spotlight with the first complete women's collection from Alessandro Michele, pictured above. Other stand outs include Alberta Ferretti, Prada, Fendi, Just Cavalli, Marni, Bottega Veneta

Necklines - High cuts and feminine embellishments made a statement on several runways. Coverage up top allows for sexy shapes and bold colors to take center stage. Standout looks included Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Roberto Cavalli & Pucci. The later, pictured above, who revolved that Peter Dundas would be departing who has lead Pucci's creative since 2008

Prints - Prints had a moment, and they make an incredible impact on the runway. From the beloved Florals to geometric and even dreamlike swirls. Needless to say, the drama was on, and we loved every minute. Standout looks came from Giamba by Giambattista Valli, Emporio Armani, Marni, Roberto Cavalli, and Bottega Veneta whose looks are pictured above.

Silhouette - The silhouettes were everything. We saw sexy silhouettes accompany high necklines; and bold patterns compliment even bolder shapes. Both gave seriously ‘70s vibes - groovy.
Leading the pack into the 70s were Fendi, MaxMara, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Roberto Cavalli & Versace whose four looks above say it all.

Her - And perhaps the chicest trend Milan showcased was the power of HER. Designers branched out in a big way, and it paid off - big time. Show stopping moments came from Dolce & Gabbana’s “Viva la mamma!” show paying homage to moms (above), and Antonio Marras featuring 70 year-old Benedetta Barzini on the runway.
