Jennifer Aniston - This is how you show up to an award show without a nomination, like you know you're a winner. Jennifer, who some say was snubbed for her raw performance in Cake, stuns in this glistening Versace. Her hair & make up are on point as always.
Margot Robbie - She achieved something what many hope to have on the red carpet, to be chic & reserved but at the same time a total stand out. Black is not necessarily my favorite for the red carpet, but this works perfectly for her. The plunging neck and sheer sleeves with the draping soften this look. Punctuated with the 1930s Van Cleef Arpels statement necklace which was originally designed for the Duchess of Windsor.
Lupita Nyong'o - I have to say after her fine showing on the 2014 red carpet season, I have been disappointed in her ever since. I do not think she is the fashion icon everyone claimed she was. That said, she is a gorgeous girl & this Calvin Klein is pearl perfection. Lupita the world is your oyster in this dress.
Jared Leto - How to stand out from the sea of black & darkly hued menswear? Ask Jared Leto in this Givenchy. This flawless, the fit is precise & the white shoes are fabulous.
Rosamond Pike - FINALLY! All 2015 red carpet season long we have waited for her & she finally delivered a best dressed worthy look. It is hard to remember she had trouble finding her fashion footing after seeing her in Givenchy. The texture plays well against her perfect skin & helps to make her pop against the similarly hued red carpet.
Reese Witherspoon - First let me just say thank you. She is incredible her in Tom Ford who just wrapped a successful fashion week show in Los Angeles the Friday night before the Oscars, which was a tell tale sign there would be a major Tom Ford moment. I love Reese in white but the black banding gives her look an edge we do not normally see from her. Love.
Julianne Moore - What can you say other than if you are going to win an Academy Award wouldn't you want to be in Chanel Haute Couture, specifically, "Karl Lagerfeld designed this for me," as our Best Actress Winner revealed on the red carpet. Stunning.
Lady Gaga - Okay some would say this should be on a different list, because Lady Gaga pulled an Amal Alamuddin by wearing gloves to the red carpet. BUT, I am going to give her a pass because "it's an Alaia... an a-what-a? an Alaia only like a totally important designer." Incase you were clueless to this fact, I will mention that this gown took 25 people 10 weeks to create. It was a real moment!
David Oyelowo - This man is a true gentleman. He stood out as quite a chic success all season long. Here, he is equally stunning in Dolce & Gabbana.
Emma Stone - Emma kept raising her fashion game all red carpet seasons long. While this is not my favorite I have seen from her this year, I think this chartreuse color looks gorgeous on her, where it wouldn't on many others. I love the intricate bead patterning & long sleeves.
Gwyneth Paltrow - To me this dress was the lightening rod of the night. This is the one that will leave most divided, BEST or WORST? I have to say I am not even a fan of her, but I think she looks gorgeous & it is a very pretty dress. If you are in the other half of the world that thought this was bad, please rake this dress over the coals in the comments below.
Cate Blanchett - Is this a memorable look from Cate Blanchett, no. However, after her stunning looks from her award winning streak last year, this is understated & respectful. This really is not her night, I appreciate that about her. Especially when she has Armani in her pocket, she could have really knocked it out of the park. I will mention this is an important dress though marking John Galliano takeover at Margiela. Plus were you like me, in your Pajamas last night trying to find some turquoise jewelry to add to the mix. Yes, will be the hot accessory this spring.
Faith Hill - What a knock out. And what a LONG way Faith Hill has come on the red carpet. She is so chic in J Mendel. And that HAIR! Can we talk about that hair? Gorgeous!
Jennifer Lopez - JLo always stuns on the red carpet. She was made for it. Here, she gave us something unexpected. He usually expect va-va-voom from JLo but last night she was pretty, pretty, princess and I am okay with that. I am more than okay, I love it. She is such a gorgeous woman and the Elie Saab gown seemed to melt into her flawless skin.
